What is Twisted Fiction?

We are a monthly book box that specializes in special edition hardcover books. Genres include Dark, Taboo, Fantasy, and Paranormal Romance.

EU RETURN / WITHDRAWAL POLICY

PREORDERS & SUBSCRIPTIONS

For preorder and subscription orders, withdrawal requests submitted before shipment will result in the order being canceled and refunded.

A withdrawal request on a subscription order applies to the active order and is not intended to function as a box skip.

Twisted Fiction reserves the right to cancel active subscriptions, future renewals, or refuse future purchases in cases of repeated withdrawal requests, return abuse, or misuse of subscription services.

SHIPPED ORDERS

Once an order has shipped, return policies apply.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Original shipping charges, duties, VAT, customs fees, and brokerage fees are non-refundable.

Refunds, if approved, will only be issued after returned items are received and inspected.

RETURN REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for a return, items must be returned:

• In original packaging
• With all original contents included
• In brand new condition
• With all shrink wrap, seals, and protective packaging fully intact

RETURNS WILL BE DENIED IF

• Shrink wrap or seals have been opened, removed, or broken
• Any item is missing
• Books or contents show signs of wear or use

Due to the collectible nature of our signed, limited edition, and exclusive products, opening shrink wrap or breaking product seals voids return eligibility.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

Where permitted by law, the following items may not be eligible for cancellation, withdrawal, or return:

• Personalized products
• Custom-made products
• Digital products
• Gift cards
• Final Sale Products such as Overstock and Scratch & Dent Items

DAMAGED / DEFECTIVE ITEMS

If your order arrives damaged or you believe you received a defective item, please do not submit a withdrawal request.

All damage, defect, or exchange requests must be submitted to support@twistedfictionbooks.com with:

• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• Clear photos of the damage, defect, or issue

Requests submitted without an order number or photos may delay review.

Damage and defect claims are reviewed separately from withdrawal and return requests and are handled in accordance with Twisted Fiction’s standard damage/replacement policies.

Can I cancel my order?

Preorder Policy

  • All preorder sales are final. Preorders cannot be canceled or refunded once placed.
  • Filing a chargeback or payment dispute will result in the cancellation of all active orders and a permanent ban from our website.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Returns & Exchanges

  • All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for any reason other than damage or defect.
  • Damaged or defective items are the only exception and must follow our Damage Claim Policy (claims must be submitted within 7 days of delivery with proof of purchase and photos).

My Item is damaged?

Damage Policy

Damaged or Missing Items
Please inspect your order upon arrival. Any claims for damaged or missing items must be submitted within 7 days of delivery. Exterior damages need to be submitted before the plastic is removed from the book. Any removed protected plastic for exterior damages will void any potential replacements.

What Qualifies as Damaged:

  • Severely dented or crushed corners
  • Broken or crushed spine
  • Deep, very noticeable scratches on the cover or spine
  • Ripped or bent pages that affect readability

What Does Not Qualify as Damaged:

  • Light scratches
  • Small dings or dents
  • Slightly dented corners
  • Wavy pages
  • Minor page alignment, page stacking, page shifting, or uneven page edges
  • Minor sprayed edge variations that do not affect the book’s readability or structural integrity
  • Minor variations in foil, embossing, or print placement
  • Minor color differences between mockups, photos, and the final product
  • Small amounts of visible binding glue that do not affect the book’s functionality

All damage and missing item claims are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Proof of purchase and photos of the damages are required.

Returns & Replacements

All items must be returned before a replacement is issued.

  • We’ll provide a return shipping label via email as a one-time courtesy.
  • If you are unable to print or use the provided label, you’ll be responsible for the return shipping costs.
  • Please return your book within 7 days of the label being created. If the return is not shipped back within that timeframe, the label will be voided and the exchange will be canceled.

My box was lost/stolen what should I do?

Shipping Policy

Lost or Stolen Packages
If tracking shows a package as delivered, we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. If your package is missing, please contact your postal service provider immediately for further instructions.

  • A package is not considered lost until there has been no movement for 30 days past the last tracking update.
  • If your package has not moved within that timeframe, we will refund or replace your order.
  • This does NOT include orders that show delivered.

Damaged or Missing Items

Do you ship Internationally?

Absolutely, we do! International shipping rates are determined by the carriers. Unfortunately, we cannot control those costs.

Please be aware that as the buyer, you are responsible for any import fees, VAT fees, conversion fees. Declining the package for these charges will not result in a refund from us.

Why is it taking so long for my order to ship?

Pre-Order Policy & Shipping Updates

Please allow up to 16 weeks for your order to ship.

✉️ Tracking Information

  • Once your label is printed, you’ll automatically receive an email with tracking.
  • Please allow up to 7 days for tracking to begin updating.
  • If your tracking hasn’t updated after 14 days, email us at Support@TwistedFictionBooks.com and we’ll look into it for you.

What are the accepted forms of payment?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept PayPal at this time

My package was returned to sender?

Returned to Sender Policy

If a package is returned to us because it was not picked up after the carrier notified the customer, the customer will be responsible for all reshipment costs.
Please note: Refunds will not be issued for packages returned to sender.

I refused my package. Will I get a refund?

Declined / Refused Packages

If you choose to decline or refuse delivery of your package, a refund will not be provided.

Do you hold packages?

Package Holds

We’re sorry, but we are unable to hold packages once they are ready to ship.

Can I change my address?

Address Changes & Responsibility

Yes — we can update your shipping address as long as the label has not been printed. Once a label is printed, unfortunately, no changes can be made.

Customers are given ample time to update their shipping address before shipping begins. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their address is accurate and current at the time of purchase.

If the label has already been printed or the package is already in transit, the customer must contact their local post office to request rerouting or a hold.

Please note: We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages resulting from an incorrect or outdated address.

Did you receive a Twisted Ticket in your box?

Our Twisted Tickets are randomly sent out in our blue/pink ombré polymailers, which will contain your winning ticket inside.

How to Claim Your Prize

  3. Provide your order number

Important Notes
